This piece was painted from a walk I took in 2019 along the cliffs of Crackington Haven in Cornwall. A place that quickly stole my heart. I fell in love with the colours of the sea, and the steep cliffs that dropped away into the water below. The land was scattered with wildflowers I wished I could take home, and the hills rolled out in a soft patchwork of fields.
There was something about walking those cliffs that made me wish I could stay, like I’d found a place I could call home.
